Myth or Poetry

Abstraction

For tiredness to cease
The darkness must fallen be
Felled as bridges are before
The angry gods

Faith is in the absence
A remedy they say
To the depths
The empty ochre
Of celibate worship

I wrote of deep
And was it words
That swept away
The certainty

For all I am certain now
abstraction
